HYPNO Entrepreneur: 2nd Phase

Hi everyone! See how I greet everyone not just ladies? Well, this is because for today's post it'll be something different than usual. Ain't gonna talk about beauty stuff or anything like that but.. I'm going to talk about a trip that I went recently with my friends and I had lots lots and lots of fun! Didn't think it'd be that fun but yeah, it was great. :) As the tittle suggests, this post is about an entrepreneurship programme that I went with my group members. We were given RM500 and we were told to sell things. The location was Port Dickson or to be exact, Pantai Teluk Kemang. (Sebab banyak sangat pantai dekat PD jadi harus bagitau pegi pantai mana satu. Lulz. ) Alright, everything went well and we even got the chance to have fun at the beach on the last day. Unlike the other groups, they still had to sell their products. herherher. Here are some pictures for you guys :

That's all for now, see yall later!

Maybelline Color Tattoo : Review

Hi ladies! I'm back at home and my blog is calling me to type a post. Does that makes sense? :p Okay, so today's post is nothing special and the review that I'm going to do is actually an old thing. I bet a lot of beauty bloggers out there have done this review and I still believe this item is still a rave among ladies out there. Today's review is about Maybelline Color Tattoo@24hr Cream Gel Shadow. There are 10 shades available but I am not sure whether all shades are available in Malaysia. Among those 10 shades, I own three which are the Tenacious Teal, Tough as Taupe and Bold Gold. Here are photos that I took myself :

From left : Tenacious Teal, Bold Gold and Tough as Taupe.

The swatches.

My verdict : I like the packaging because it's simple thus makes it looks classy. You can see the colors because at the other side of the pot, it is transparent. This is good because you do not have to open it to see the colors. This glass pot is pretty heavy and it takes space whenever I need to bring my make up for travelling purposes. But that's not really a problem for me. What I like about this color tattoo is that I can use this as eyeshadow base, or eyeshadow itself or I can use it as eyeliners. It works great either way. :)

Where can I get it and how much? : You can get this color tattoo at Watsons or Guardian but I got mine at Sasa because they were having a sale and the price was cut down from RM19.90 to RM15. All these were my purchases when Sasa was having a sale. :)

This is a picture of mine having fun with the colors. I used Tenacious Teal and Bold Gold and paired it with bronze and brown eyeshadows :

And these are the shades available from the Color Tattoo range :

Until next post, stay tuned beauties!

Looks 2013.

Hi ladies! What's with the title? It's 2014 and you still wanna talk about 2013? :p Okay, this post will be about pictures, only few of them. I decided to post on what kind of makeup I had put on for 2013. I did not do full makeup look(that includes eyeshadows, blusher and etc) If I did, the makeup would be really subtle and I did not have any pictures of that except for this one time when I was acting out as part of my assignment. Basically, this post has nothing special. I just want to include it here. Enjoy :)

My everyday look. Winged eyeliner, sheer foundation and lip tint.

Winged eyeliner with nude pink lipstick.

This was for fun. My roommate did this using: Maybelline Color tattoo in blue and gold.
 Red and nude pink lipstick.

Winged eyeliner with hot pink lipgloss.
I dapped it on tissue to make it appear wearable on daylight.

Filled in eyebrows, Kokuryu Summer Cake foundation, and lip tint.

Filled in eyebrows, foundation and red lipstick. My favourite!

Very sheer foundation, filled in eyebrows, winged eyeliner and red lipstick.
Wanted this to look 60s. Hm.

My most worn look for the last weeks on 3rd semester. :)

This was during the Musical Drama day. With some of the casts. :)

Until next post, stay tuned beauties!

Let It Go : Disney Movie Frozen.

Hi ladies. This post has nothing to do with beauty stuff or anything like that. Okay, have you watched Frozen? I haven't either. But I am already in love with the song called, Let It Go. Here's the clip taken from the movie, sung by Idina Menzel.

The lyrics are really meaningful. It gives strength you just when you need it.

"Let it go, Let it go
Can't hold it back anymore.

Let it go, Let it go
Turn your back and slam the door."

Feeling a bit melancholic tonight, good night lovelies.

January Haul.

Hi ladies! For twothousandforteen(read as 2014 :p), I have decided that I will AT LEAST do monthly haul. The hauls that I am about to do will not be as great as other beauty bloggers and the other reasons will be because I'm a student therefore my financial flow will be very restricted. InsyaAllah, I will try to do haul for every month. So, for January 2014, I have few items that I bought and still have few other items but that shall be included in my February haul. :) The items that I bought :

From left : Bio Essence Miracle Bio Water, Herbal Essences Shampoo&Conditioner, Watsons Nose Strips, Baby Wipes(Jusco)

  • Bio Essence Miracle Bio Water : I will do a separate review on this after I try this few more times. This is basically a face mist, something used to moisturize your skin. The good thing about this is that it can be used not only on your face, you can also use this on your hair and body! How cool is that? This one I actually shared with a friend of mine and this comes in twin pack which costs RM38.90. And I paid only RM19.45 for one bottle. Hehe.

  • Herbal Essences Shampoo&Conditioner in Red Raspberry&Satin : Okay, I believe this brand has been a rave among the beauty bloggers and Clairol is not a new brand anyway in hair care products. I decided to give this a try because my friend has been using this and it works well on her. After all, I need to change my shampoo because Rejoice stopped working its wonder on me. :( And these two were on sale when I bought them last week! Each costs me, RM13.52. That was really a steal! And the scent, ahhh. It's really sweet and you can't just get enough with it!

  • Watsons Nose Pore Strips : The only reason I purchased this is because I exceeded a certain amount at Watsons and I got to buy this at a lower price. And I wanted one as well because I finished my old nose pore strips. I didn't have high hopes on this one but.. it works wonder and I love it. I've used this twice and we'll see how it goes for the next few times. Hehe. And this costs me, RM6.90. I think it retails at RM9.90.

  • Baby Wipes(Jusco) : I have tried this for few times to remove my makeup and I love it. This moisturizes your skin because it has Aloe Vera and we all know Aloe Vera is good for your skin. This comes in twin pack and each pack has 80 wipes. Two packs equal to 180 packs and costs me only at RM8.90! Cheap and really really good. This is definitely a repurchase once I finish those two packs.

Until next post, stay tuned beauties!

Face scrubs.

Hi ladies. Today was a pretty dull day for me probably because I didn't do anything except for lazying around at home. That's that. Okay, I was browsing the net and I remembered that I have something that I want to share with my ladies here. Honestly, these products have been on my list for few weeks now. I've been searching high and low for face scrubs. Yes, face scrub that is good and affordable. So, I have found two which I think will work. I've gone through few beauty bloggers that blogged about these. And read the reviews as well and so far everything is good. So, the two face scrubs that I really really really want to try are the Honey Black Sugar Scrub from The Face Shop and St. Ives Apricot Scrub (Blemish and Blackhead control.)

If any of you have tried any of these two scrubs, feel free to share with me! I'd love to know what my ladies think of these scrubs. Oh, and if you wish to know more about the Honey Black Sugar Scrub, you can visit their website here and for the St Ives scrub, here

Where can I get this? : For the Honey Black Sugar scrub, you can go to any The Face Shop outlets available at your place. As for the St. Ives scrub, you can get it at Watsons or Guardian or any drugstore. And I believe the Honey Black Sugar scrub retails at below RM30 and the St. Ives scrub retails at below RM20.

Until next post, stay tuned beauties!

My January wishlist,

Hi again ladies. As the title suggests, this post is about my wishlist for this month. Well, to put it that way is quite wrong because I've been wanting this item for so long and I added a new item on the list. Just because. :) What items am I talking about? Have you ever heard of MUA Makeup Academy UK? Among the beauty bloggers/gurus, I believe that this brand is not something new in their collections. I discovered this brand last year and it caught my eyes instantly. The products are all inexpensive and some of the makeup stuffs really are the same like the high end products. If you wish to know more, this is the link Click Now, onto the highlight of this post. The two items that I really really want are...

The first item is called the Britain's Next Top Model Palette and the second item is the F2 Stippling Brush.  What the palette contains :

  • Filled with 28 eyeshadows, including a variety of pearl, matte and high shimmers, a blusher, a bronzer and a highlighter.  -Read here

What the brush claims to be :

  • A flat-topped, full circular brush used for lightweight application and blending of any foundations. Ideal for creating soft layers or adding textures to the skin. -Read here

The palette retails at 12 pound sterling but it is on sale right now and you can purchase it at only 7 pound sterling! And the brush retails at 3 pound sterling. And I asked my friend to get these items for me and hopefully she can find this. Fingers crossed!

Until next post, stay tuned beauties!

Inexpensive face item.

Hi ladies! This post is going to be a short one because I only have one item to share with you ladies this time. Based on my title up there, can you guess what face item I'm gonna share with you? It could be anything from BB cream to foundation to face powder. I still can't do any post on BB cream because I do not own any at the moment. I had BB creams in the past but I stopped using it because I wanted to try something else. Like the sheer foundation. (hint) And right I am considering of switching back to BB creams. Well, that'd have to be in a different post right? Okay, so the item that I am going to share with you today is the Sheer Natural Gel Foundation by IN2IT.

For the foundation, I am in the code 02 Golden Beige and I think this is the shade for me because it't medium. Not too dark, not too light. As the name says, it is sheer and you can barely tell you have foundation on your face. This is my most reached product for months. Going to classes or shopping with girlfriends, I always use this. Let's see what it claims to be :

  • Sheer & Light: A non-greasy water based formulation that is easy to apply and blend. Contains Bisabolol to help sooth and condition the skin. Contains 69% natural ingredients, no fragrance and oil-free.
  • Waterproof: Long Wearing, day long formulation.
  • Sun Protection with SPF25 & PA++
  • With whitening
  • With Moisturizer
My verdict : The first and last points prove to be correct. However, I cannot say the same for the rest. If I were to be out the whole day, I need to re-apply this foundation for few more times. And it does not protect me from the sun, not really. Whitening? Definitely not. I do not seek for this in foundation and this foundation does not whiten my skin or anything like that. On the contrary, this small tube contains a lot of product. I still have this despite the fact that I use this everyday for months. Good job!

Will I repurchase this? : Definitely no. I love this foundation because it is easy to apply and to cover my flaws from being too obvious but I'd love to try new face products.

Where can I get this? : It is available in any drugstores. I bought this at Watson and it retails at RM 19.90 if I'm not mistaken.

Until next post, stay tuned beauties!
